I shuffled the music on my friends IPod. And then suddenly this song came on. It is amazing. I love it. So I thought I would do a quite post on it. Because you all need to listen to it.

 

It is part of the album 'Memory Lane' and along with the songs Memory Lane and Lies makes it an amazing album.

 

The song starts with an eerie sounding organ playing a tune and chords. Tom then comes in with the first verse slowly.  Dougie then sings the chorus. Tom sings another verse. After that Harry sings a section. A amazing guitar solo then follows by Danny. All of this just makes it amazing piece of music.

 

I am just made speechless by the song.

October Favourites !

Hello, this is my first ever favourites video. I have a mixture of beauty, hair, food and fashion favourites to share with you today. Enjoy!

 

Firstly, hair !

If you follow me on Instagram you will know just over a month ago i ordered and received a Tangle Teezer. I love the colour of this one and it is amazing with my hair, i can brush out curls without it going mega frizzy !!!

I've always loved batiste dry shampoo, but recently I have been really lazy and not washing my hair as often as I should. So this has been essential, also this is the best scent, it is fresh and citrusy ?

Skincare/bodycare, I have had more severe hormonal breakouts in the last few months, so at the very end of September I researched cheap daily face washes/scrubs and this came up. It works miracles in my opinion and has sorted out my blackheads adn spots. I literally have been using this twice everyday throughout october, So has obviously earned a place in october favourites.

 

This soap and glory scrub had been mentioned in a previous post so I wont talk about it too much. It is amazing !

 

 

I been using this deodorant for ages but realised recently how much I love it. When I'm looking for a good deodorant I want one that does not smell like a perfume but has a clean fresh smell. As in my opinion deodorant should just hide the smell of sweat and a perfume should the add a nice smell to your body. This deodorant did just that, so I love it.

 

 

Make up ! I have a couple of makeup favourites for this month.

First is this Natural Collection Blush in the colour, Pink Cloud. Despite the very cheap price in my opinion I love these natural collection blushes (I have quite a couple now !), they have really nice pigmentation and this colour in particular has been my go to blush colour this month !

 

I have also been loving this contour palette by sleek, I do not use the highlight much as it is quite shimmery, but the bronzer is the perfect shade not to orangey and also not to much of a mud/poo colour. It is perfect, and as my summer tan is fading I keep using this to not just contour but blend all over my face to fake a tan, but it looks really natural !

 

Food, On holiday in spain/france this summer I bought these mini tic tac packets. These are great to put into your handbag. They are also in a couple of flavours, which I love but my favourite is just the original ones.The cuteness of these is the may reason why I love them !

 

My family and I have gone through at least 2 of these during this month, as this is the most amazing granola, it has the subtle taste of honey and has loads of oats, nuts and seeds in it which are healthy and give you lots of energy for the day !

 

 

Clothing, I have been getting into fluffy socks again, and rediscovered these which I bought from Primark last year. They are quirky cute and I love Monsters Inc. love them and they keep my feet warm, what more could you wan from a pair of socks !

Review : Zoella Beauty !

You may or may not know that Zoe Sugg  ( aka Zoella on youtube ) has released her own beauty range called 'Zoella Beauty' which involves bath and body  products and even a candle !

Today I am going to review the products I bought. I could not afford all of them so I got the ones which I liked the sound of the most. All the products cost £5 and the cosmetic bags and fragrance cost £8 which is not as expensive as I thought but still not super cheap.
 I got the Let's Glow (candle), Soak Opera (bath soak and shower cream) and the Fizz Bar. I was most excited about the Fizz Bar as it seemed such a cool concept.
Let me just mention the package, it is beautiful and so zoeish. The coral and rose gold details, writing and patterns are all adorable. I love diplaying them on my chest of draws !

 

 

Let's Glow Candle

 

 

 

I love the scent which is supposed to be calming and I t definitely is. The scent is white wood, sweet vanilla and soft floral which in my opinion gives it a very fresh scent. It burns really nicely and makes your whole room smell like it.

 

Soak Opera

 

 

 

 

 

I think this is much better as a bath soak as it is quite thick making it perfect for running under the tap as it makes loads of bubbles but not so great for putting in your hands to rub over your body. The smell again is amazing, very subtle but when but into a bath becomes more prominent (big word alert !), it is quite a floral kind of scent which I thought I would not like but is surprisingly nice and is really fresh. It contains vitamin E, Shea butter and aloe extracts which are meant to soften and condition skin. This actually conditions my skin which is a rarity for baths soak not specifically for drier skin.

 

Fizz Bar

 

 

 

 

This has a similar scent to the Soak Opera. I just love the concept, most bath bombs you use once. But this one you can use as much or as little as you like. In my bath I used two of the blocks. It was super easy to break off. I thought it may be a bit tricky. I plopped (love the word plopped!) the two chunks into my bath and they instantly started fizzing away. Love the smell. it does not colour your bath water which I like from a bath bomb.

Review : Tresemme Renewal Hair & Scalp Shampoo and Conditioner

 

When I ordered the Zoella Beauty products from Superdrug they sent me a couple of samples. Two of  these samples was Tresemme's Renewal Hair & Scalp shampoo and conditioner from their new Renewal Hair & Scalp range. This range also includes a conditioning spray and a conditioning hair mask.

 

On the packaging they advertise that they contain "tea tree extracts and sunflower seed oil" which is a  "nourish and renew system for scalp care and beautiful hair". In more detail on the back Tresemme state that these products "Helps nourish the scalp and renews your hair, leaving it beautiful from start to finish. With tea tree extract and sunflower seed oil, the salon quality formulas help by nourishing the scalp at the surface cellular level. The result is soft manageable hair and a healthy feeling scalp."

It smelt great, a very salon like scent cannot describe it. I followed the instructions on the package to the letter in order to get the best results I could. After coming out of the shower I towel dried my hair and brushed it with my Tangle Teezer. I did not use any other products as I do not want to change the effect to the hair.

 

You may or may nto know but I have dandruff which can be very bad in winter. I usually use head and shoulders which reduces the dandruff. This did a decent job at reducing dandruff but not as good as head and shoulders.

 

I do like the way it left my hair. It made my hair feel weightless, which the head and shoulders does not. My hair felt so smooth and soft like what the packaging said. It also made my hair look like it had no split ends. it was literally like they had disappeared. I was amazed.

 

Overall I think I may purchase the full size in at least the conditioner as it did leave my hair really softened. I think if combined with head and shoulders it will leave my hair and scalp looking amazing.

Haul : Beauty

I have been wanting to order some of these products for ages and I have finally done it ! Along with a short trip to Superdrug for foundation !

 

 

First of all is the Rimmels Match Perfection Foundation, I have it in 103 'True Ivory' . It matches my skin perfectly, as the name suggests and leaves a light/medium coverage which can easily be built up or blended out.

 

 

From amazon I ordered this NYX Eyeshadow trio which included, dark brown, taupe and highlight which are great shades for everyday makeup looks. Taupe and highlight have a slight shimmer and dark brown is matte.

 

 

 

On the same amazon order I also ordered a NYX blush this is in the shade 'Mauve' I absolutely love the colour, it is very natural and make your cheeks look great.

 

 

 

 Also on this amazon order, I ordered two milani pencil eyeliners. One in black and the other in brown, personally I loike the brown better as it looks more natural and is easy to wear to school and get away with it (as eyeliner is not allowed at my school).

How Am I Staying Organised ?

I am now half way through my first half term of this academic year. So today I am going to show you the essential stationary I have and how to make them look jazzy.

 

 

Essential stationary No.1 : Post-it/sticky notes. These are definitely an essential, my favourites are the packs you can get from paperchase with cool designs on them. I have the geometric shape pack, mermaid pack and owl pack, absolutely love the designs. For the loose ones I have which are real post-it notes, I store them in a cute jar. Sticky notes are useful for putting notes in text books, books and scripts which you do not own but need to annotate.

 

 

Essential stationary No.2 : Colourful highlighters and different coloured biros. these are great to use on text books you own and exam papers to highlight the relevant info. My biros are from bic in red, blue and green and my highlighters are from Stabilo Boss and they are cute and have faces on them !

 

Jazzing up stationary :

You will need, sharpies, colourful paper, cool sticky tape, glue and normal sticky tape.

 

 

 No.1 : Note books.

 

I just get these refill pads as they are just over £2 and have loads of pages so you get good value for money.

 

 

 Use glue to stick down your colourful paper to the front of the refill pad. Fold over the excess and use sticky tape to hide it.

 

 

Then write stuff in it.

 

 

I use these mostly to write down revision notes which I then rip out and place in a folder.

 

 
 
 

 

Want to know how I decorated the folder ?

 

No.2 folders

 

For this you just need some folders I got mine from whsmith and rymans in blue, purple and pink, some cool tape mine is from paperchase and colourful sharpies.

 

 

you need to think of a pattern, and use the cool tape to make it happen, it is super easy and quick and makes your folders unique and cool.

Autumn Clothing Haul

I have been doing a bit of online shopping on H&M and Boohoo. So here it is !

This fine knit jumper is from H&M, the main reason why i bought it is the zip at the back which adds a bit of detail to a plain jumper.

This stripy jumper is navy and white but the navy almost looks black. I think this will look really cute with jeans and my cowboy style boots.

Next is this cable knit jumper from H&M. The cable knit is showing up very well in this picture. But it is super warm and i love the dark grey flecks.

This is just a simple baggy long t shirt, i personally think this is an essential in anyone's wardrobe !

This jumper is from Boohoo. I think it is super cute because it has adorable hearts as elbow pads. I also love the knit, although it is synthetic and is quite short.
