What Is In My Bin ? - Makeup Edition

Today I am going to share with you some of the makeup products I am chucking in the bin. Enjoy.

Lets start with mascara. I have already spoken about the 'Miss Sporty' one on my instagram. But the No.7 was a freebee with another product ages ago. The brush is really nice but it is blue ! I personally never wear blue as I do not like the look of it. I am chucking the 'Miss Sporty' one and keeping the brush of the No.7 one to use as a eyelash/eyebrow brush once cleaned.

This lipgloss was one of the first items in my makeup collection, it is a weird colour and a weird texture but I guess that is just due to how old it is. So I am chucking it out.

Concealer wise I a,m chucking out 2. Both of these are from Seventeen. They do not have a good coverage which I  do not mind too much. But the colours are wrong. The orangy stick one was bought after my holiday last year, so as I am going paler it is way too orange. The other one is not too pale but the applicator is really spikey and horrible. SO both of these are being chucked out of my makeup collection.

Eyeliners- I have 2, one is a gel liner from Seventeen and the other is a liquid liner from Natural Collection. The gel liner was a freebee with the Back Lash mascara which I love from seventeen but I do not love this liner. It dried up literally as soon as I got it. So I never got chance to use it. Very disappointing, but it was free ! The next one is a liquid liner, which I usually prefer but the applicator is really floppy and no good, also the liquid cracks on your skin. Not pretty! So both of these have been destined for the bin for a long time.

I used to love this blush, I have no idea where it is from as the packaging has rubbed off. It is a shimmery, peachy blush. This also was one of the first things in my makeup collection and unfortunately it has gone all weird. So sadly I have to say good bye to this blush.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post.

OOTD : Autumn

Hello, today I am going to share with you my typical autumnal outfit.

I think this outfit is super versatile and easy to wear. It could be worn to many occasions.
My jumper is about two years old from Topshop, so is no longer sold but I am sure it is easy to find one similar from Topshop or another shop.
My jeans are from H&M. They are the 'Skinny Regular Jeans' in 'Dark Denim Blue'. These jeans are under £20 which is a bargain, as I have had mine for at least a year and they are still going strong. If you are looking for a new pair of jeans, have a look in H&M.

These boots are definitely a staple for me this time of year. I got them in the January sales last year from Dorothey Perkins. They no longer stock these exact boots, but most of Dorothey Perkins boots are quite nice at the moment.

My coat is from H&M, it is their Parka coat. Mine is in the colour 'Dark Mole' as I think the grey looks so much better than the green which in my opinion is a weird shade. It has a furry trim and soft fleecy fur inside, it is also super duper warm!

I hope you have enjoyed this post, and have found it useful. Or given you inspiration.

Eyeshadow Palettes Under £4 !

Hello. I am going to review some Eyeshadow palettes under £4.

The newest palette I bought was this matte one by Makeup Revolution, called 'Redemption Palette Essential Mattes'. None of the eye shadows have names which is slightly annoying. Despite the price tag of £4 the pigmentation is pretty good. Although some are more pigmented than others. My favourites from this palette are; No.1 which is a white colour, great for the inner corner, No.6 which is a darkish brown, really pigmented and I like to use it for the crease, No.9 which is such a weird colour for me so do not use it much but am trying to use it. No.11 which is a grey/purple colour which I like to use all over the lid to add a bit of subtle colour. Overall a very good palette. Definitely worth the money.

Now this is the palette I have had for the longest. It is £3.99. It is the 'Soft Nudes' nude palette. Again this has no named colours. But my favourite is the darkest end one. It is the most pigmented and has a nice amount of shimmer.  The pigmentation it no way as good as the Makeup Revolution one, so for 1p more I would definitely buy the Makeup Revolution palette.

Last but not least is the MUA eye shadow palette which costs the same as the Makeup Revolution palette (£4). This palette is called 'Heaven and Earth', it contains mostly bronzey brownie (earthy ) shades which are quite shimmery. These shadows do have names. Whippee !!! My favourites are; Catacomb, which is a really pretty grey/champagne colour which I use for all over the lid, Aurora is another great colour which is great at brightening your inner corner. For the cease I like to use Tectonite which is a grey/brown colour. I do not usually like much shimmer but I love the pigmentation of this palette and the colours. I cannot find this palette on the website ?

My favourites are the Makeup Revolution Palette and the MUA palette. As I like to use matte and shimmery shades. But if I could only buy one. it would have to be the Makeup Revolution one as mattes are more versatile in my opinion.

Thank you for reading this post.

Sorry for my hair weird looking arms in the pictures.

How Do I Relax ?

The weather is getting colder, as it is now autumn (Duh !). So relaxing evenings have been becoming more regular. I am going to share with you how I relax on a typical relaxing evening.

I usually switch on my laptop and load up Spotify. I have currently been listening to Amy McDonald. Not sure why but its probably because it reminds me of happy holidays with my family due to the fact that my parents (and now my siblings and I) love her music and her Scottish accent ! My favourite songs by her are; The Green And The Blue, 4th Of July, Let's Start A Band and I Left That Body Long Ago. By putting on this music I know a relaxing evening has officially started.

Whilst listening to Amy McDonald I put on some snuggly socks (these are the winter ones from Primark which I repurchase every year) and make myself a Double Choca Mocha by Nestle and find a snack, today I found a bag of Metacalfe's Skinny Topcorn in 'Sweet 'n Salt' which only have 115 calories per serving (so relatively healthy, I guess?). The mocha is super chocolately and the popcorn is delicious ! I also really love the massive tea cup my mum bought me for Christmas last year. It is so cute, and purple!

With food, drinks and music sorted, I get out a face mask and wear it for the appropriate time, today I used the Neutrogena visibly clear 2 in 1 mask and wash, I then moisturise using the Simple Rich Moisturiser and slap some of Body Shop's Wild Argan Oil Lip balm to my lips.

I then load up the internet and either do some internet shopping (mainly browsing as I cannot afford most of it! ) or I write down blog post ideas and start writing the weeks post. I really want a pair of caterpillar boots, what do you think, Yay or Nay ?

While writing this post I am eating the popcorn and drinking a mocha ! Also I am listening to The Youth Of Today  which is another fabulous song by Amy McDonald.

Do you like my homemade canvas with Live, Love, Laugh on them ? I you do comment below as I may do a DIY tutorial post on how to make them ?

I really enjoyed making this blog post ( as it was an excuse to open a bag of popcorn !), I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it.
Thank you for reading
