Hey, today is a
slightly different blog post, more personal.
A few pretty bad
things have happened recently which have made my sad. I cannot do anything
about it, but it made me think of ways to stop me dwelling on what makes me
sad. So I thought I would share my methods with you.
1)
The main way I keep happy is by making lists in
my head. E.g. What I am going to spend my money on, places where I want to
visit, what I would pack for a holiday. This helps keep my mind off things and
keeps me distracted.
2)
Another thing I do is to “Keep Smiling". This is
what my mum keeps telling me to do this when I am sad and it works. Along with
thinking positive thoughts it helps to make everything seem less sad.
3)
Having a goal. This keeps me distracted as I have
to work for something. What I am working for at the moment is revision of mocks
starting on the 5th January and a cross country competition which if
I do well in will enable me to get top marks for cross country in PE.
